Secondary School Places
If your child is in year 6, you can apply for a secondary school (year 7) place between 11 September 2023 and 31 October 2023.
Grammar school places
If you are interested in a year 7 place for September 2024 at one of the selective schools in the Consortium of Selective Schools in Essex (CSSE), you need to register your child to sit the 11+ test by the given deadline.
If you are interested in a year 7 place for September 2024 at Chelmsford County High School (CHHS) for Girls, you need to register your child to sit the entrance test by the given deadline.
