The school gates open for families at 8.35am in the morning and 3:05pm in the afternoon. Currently we have protective measures in place to reduce the risk of coronavirus. This means we have a staggered start and finish at the beginning and end of the school day.
Children in years 1, 2, 3 and 4 are greeted by their teacher and enter the school building at 8.45am. These year groups finish at 3.15pm.
Children in EYFS and years 5 and 6 begin the school day at 8.55am and finish at 3.25pm.
Children in EYFS and year 1 are dismissed from the gate near to their classroom. Parents may wait near to the gate but must allow space for the children to exit the gate safely with a two-metre distance.
Children in years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are dismissed from the circles within the first third of the main playground. Parents are asked to wait behind the yellow line within the remaining two thirds of the playground. There is plenty of space for parents to socially distance within this area.
Mrs Osborne or another member of the leadership team will be available on the school playground at the beginning and end of the day if you have any questions or would like a quick chat. Class teachers are also available to talk to at the end of the school day. If you require a confidential or personal appointment, please telephone the school office so that this can be arranged.
It is vitally important that all children, as long as they are fit and well, attend school every day, on time, to maximise learning time. If your child is unwell and unable to attend school, please notify the school office by phone or email.
