Friends Of Larkrise School (FOLS)

FOLS are a very active, friendly and welcoming PTA and the committee and many parent volunteers work really hard to organise fun, social events that help raise much needed funds for Larkrise.  Government funding provides essentials for the school but FOLS fundraising allows the school to invest in additional equipment and facilities that benefit the school and children.

Past fundraisers have consisted of movie nights, discos, bingo, quiz nights, pamper evenings, fetes and bazaars.  Funds raised have been spent on playground markings, playground equipment, towards bi-annual pantomime trips, indoor play toys, Christmas gifts for every child, Year 6 yearbooks and leavers treat, good attendance tea party and much, much more.             

Being a member of FOLS is a great way to meet with other parents, share ideas and make friends.  Also your child will love seeing you getting involved with their school.

We really appreciate as much or as little time parents can spare to help us.  You may be able to help organise an event, bake a cake for us to sell at one of our events, help out on a stall, ring around local business to ask for donations.  Or you can simply support us by coming along and enjoying one of our events.  Every bit really does make a difference to the school.
