OPEN MORNINGS

Viewing - We are holding four Open Mornings where parents and children are invited to look around our school and see it in action. These Open Mornings are a great opportunity to get a feel for our school and a chance for children to possibly meet their future classmates.
You will be welcomed by our Headteacher and then have a tour with some of our Year 6 pupils before having an opportunity to ask any questions. Our SENDCO will also be available to provide guidance as required.

I am the father of *** who has started in Reception this year. I am writing to say how happy my wife and I are with how he has settled in to school life. He is coming home happy and excited to tell us about the learning he has been doing in class. He has been telling us about the phonics lessons he has participating in and he enjoys telling us the words he knows with those sounds in - the sillier the word he can think of the better. Also he has begun to show a much greater interest in writing, which my wife and I are glad to see.
We are aware of the many pressures school staff face at the moment and we would like to show our appreciation and effort that you and the other members of Larkrise have made to help our child.
Please pass on this message to Miss Phillips and the other adults who work in Reception. They have helped make a wonderful start to my child's schooling, having a caring and nurturing teacher in their early education, can make a huge difference to children and their attitudes to learning in the future.
